A crowning achievement by the entire team

It’s been three years since I randomly decided to, iPhone in hand, visit Walter Pyramid to witness the incredible athleticism and long-term narrative that New Japan Pro-Wrestling provides – and I started a Twitter that night.

I’ve since gotten into NOAH and other promotions, while chatting with over 5,000 followers – the magazine’s audience, who’ve heaped acclaim on my team’s editorial work in Monthly Puroresu. It’s nice to create something that others seem to truly enjoy! Honestly, this issue is one of the proudest moments in my career.

At 40 pages, Issue #3 our largest yet; it’s easily our most diverse with exclusive interviews all the way from Japan’s underground wrestling scene, commentary from all-star veterans such as Zack Heydorn (VP of The Chicago Sun-Times) plus advanced match analytics with data provided by Craig Leask at PWMusings.

The best part? We pre-sold nearly 70% of our inventory before the publisher ever put it into print! It also afforded me a spot as a Broadcast Analyst on FiteTV, as part of a roundtable including legendary manager and wrestling scout Sonny Onoo (the inventor of the selfie!).

With that all being said, I cannot wait for Issue #4.
