After working with R/GA on the client side with Fair app, I was hired in-house to help with a rebrand of another IPG subgroup as their assistant director of content strategy. As luck would have it, we completed our work at the NYC office the same week of mandatory lockdowns during the covid-19 pandemic. All independent contractors (like me) were subsequently laid off. In the weeks that followed, I’d take the same tools and team structure to create my own brand, Monthly Puroresu.
